Level One, Basic Training 8-24 weeks of age at start of session
These flexible 60-minute sessions offer the vital components needed to raise a happy, healthy, and well-adjusted dog. My basic foundational program addresses various elements such as environmental exposure, socialization, handling, nutrition, enrichment games & activities, watch me, leave it, recall, sit & stay, loose leash walking and much more while forming a solid human/canine bond.
These core principles are essential for a puppy's development, enabling them to feel comfortable around various people, animals, environments, and experiences while learning to recognize and respond to your cues. These essentials form the basis for good behaviour and can be expanded upon as your puppy grows. You will learn to utilize consistent and positive reinforcement techniques such as praise and valuable rewards, serving as effective tools to encourage learning and collaboration.

If you are looking for a focused approach with resolving, or addressing those hard habits to break, these sessions are personalized, and designed by you to address any specific challenges you and your dog are facing, ensuring progress and succession while using compassionate training techniques. Downward Dog Decompression
Similar to humans, dogs can develop fears related to specific situations, people, and places, often caused by prior mistreatment and/or trauma. If these issues are not addressed and understood early on, they can rapidly escalate into significant issues that worsen over time. This may result in undesirable behaviours, heightened anxiety, and even aggression. Most importantly, your dog may miss out on an enriched quality of life. These sessions are designed to assist you with your dog’s transition as it adapts to a new environment, people, and other animals. This is a critical period that can significantly influence how well a dog acclimates to its new home, enabling your pet to reach a calm and neutral state of mind. I understand that a busy lifestyle shouldn’t prevent you from cherishing quality time with your beloved companion. While you focus on your other commitments, I will collaborate with your puppy to do the groundwork. Covering all the essentials outlined in our By Pupular Demand basic training packages, I will tackle the challenges that transform those puppy antics into a pup who understands the cause and effect of making good choices…vital for future success! This convenient program allows you to manage your personal schedule while ensuring that your puppy receives consistent engagement through play and learning! These sessions take place in the comfort of your own home and neighbourhood.
